Many design professionals and contract administrators have mixed feelings about ‘becoming the contractor’ – they feel that there is an opportunity which should be taken, but at the same time the prospect is a bit scary, and they worry about lacking expertise in vital areas.
The Lockdown has exaggerated the situation because of dislocations within the industry and its supply chain, and the inability of many contractors to perform within any sort of normal timescale. This has led some professionals to conclude that the only way to get on is to employ the trades themselves. But how to start, and how to educate ourselves on the vital elements of expertise which, up to now, we have never needed?
This course addresses these needs. Composed of two days of tuition, which are separately bookable, it is a practical introduction that will give you confidence in taking those first steps, and will guide you on to further expertise.
